What is a Car Eyelid?

Car eyelids are adhered on top of the headlight housing of a car. They are not universal and are made to fit each individual make and model of automobile. Many car enthusiasts feel that they give a car a sporty look.
There are three different constructions of car eyelids, all of which install with adhesive on the back of the eyelids like a sticker. Vinyl eyelids are thin, install very easily, and are the most economical choice. Polyurethane eyelids are glossy plastic and thicker in structure. They appear to be three-dimensional and are more durable than vinyl. Carbon fiber eyelids are three-dimensional in shape and look best with carbon headlight hoods or a black automobile. They are made of real carbon fiber and reflect this in the appearance of the grain.
